A recent addition to the team, Jeremy graduated from Massey University, New Zealand, in 2003, where he spent his first two years working on the South Island of New Zealand, spending all his spare time roaming the forests and mountains near where he lived outside of Christchurch.
From 2006 Jeremy travelled and worked overseas. He started out running the small animal department in a mixed animal practice in Llanrwst, North Wales, again spending plenty of time roaming the mountains of Snowdonia. He then broadened his scope of interest becoming involved in the Aquaculture industry of Scotland, moving to Inverness, and working with salmon farmers all over Scotland. Whilst he enjoyed this experience, he missed the one on one client contact, and complex medicine and surgical experience involved in small animal practice.
Returning to small animal practice, Jeremy moved to Birmingham, working as a locum in an extremely busy practice for three months and then on to London, where he managed a sole charge practice in East London for his final year overseas.
After several years overseas the lure of home pulled too strong, and Jeremy returned to his home town of Melbourne. He looks forward to involving himself in general practice, and settling in to his favourite city in the world. And perhaps exploring some of Victoria's mountains on foot.
