Social gatherings are usually filled with lots of delicious food. We would like to remind everyone that some human food are not so wonderful for our beloved pets. Here are some that are dangerous to our pets.
Sultanas, raisins and grapes cause kidney failure so that left over Christmas cake or pudding is a no no for pets.
- Cooked bones can splinter and damage your pet's internal organs so no sharing that left over roast bone!
- Onions and garlic destroy red blood cells and cause anemia.
- Chocolate can cause seizures so keep well out of your pet's reach and only share with your human friends.
- Rich fatty foods are definitely a no go as they can cause acute pancreatitis. Bacon, sausages, turkey skin and plum pudding are just a few that are off the menu for your pet.
